My contribution to the ever-amazing blog, Fuck Yeah Carrie Brownstein.

One of the musicals I grew up watching over and over again on VHS tape. Gene Kelly and Frank Sinatra star in a tale of saucy sailors ashore on leave as they try to get themselves a couple of dames, and, in one famous and oft-referenced sequence (even on Family Guy) Kelly dances with an animated mouse. 

Here’s the Family Guy parody juxtaposed with the original, both voices intact:

Luckily for you and other corn-haters out there, this is actually a fake corn prop made out of wax.

I also dislike corn on the cob. A few months ago I threw a corn cob across a room in anger at it being served, but that’s a story for another time.
