42% of the House GOP and 60% of the House Tea Party Caucus are Southerners. Can I ask you folks something…But when in the entire history of this great nation has the South ever been right about anything when it comes to the great issues of the day?
p.s. I love the South. I’m a son of the South (if that includes Texas). The single from The Dirty Projectors’ upcoming album Swing Lo Magellan
This marks a pretty new direction for The Dirty Projectors, which creatively is really all Dave Longstreth. My favorite and perhaps weirdest thing they’ve done is their 2005 album The Getty Address, which is a sort of glitchy rock opera combining lo-fi and hi-fi recordings done in various settings with tons of different musicians which loosely tells a semi-fictional story about Don Henley, drummer and lead singer for the Eagles.
