After I visited the Cartoon Network studios I was at an Adventure Time video game release party where Pendleton Ward made an appearance and I met this really attractive girl dressed as Fionna and we danced to 8-bit Adventure Time chiptune music and she complimented me in my sky blue suit and we even made out for a little bit but I never got her real name and the night went on and I’ll probably never see her again and this all makes me feel simultaneously sad and wonderful about the whole world. 

Lest we forget this otherwordly collaboration between The Apples in stereo and the Powerpuff Girls.

I used to think the first song of The Apples that I heard was “Energy” as it was included I believe as a sample song with Windows XP machines. (Or was it another Windows system? I think Vista had something by The Posies…) But, now that I see this and think about it, this was definitely the first Apples song I ever heard, way back before I had any idea who they were or what Elephant 6 was. Before “In The Aeroplane Over The Sea” was even released!
