Still mystifying how I came to be involved in this.
I don’t even understand. How did I end up in this video? Go to 3:45. That’s me, trollin’ a troll on the Venice Beach boardwalk.

Great chord analysis.
Song of the Day: The Beach Boys - Keep An Eye On Summer. This is a real pretty song and all, but there’s a few twists that keeps it from being simple. There are a huge amount of Beach Boy tunes that use Doo-Wop chord progressions and this is one of them. This song goes from G, down to Em7 up to Am and down to D9. This would work fine and be a good song but Brian Wilson constantly adds strange discorded twists to his songs. There’s always a dark cloud blocking the sunlight, and this comes in at the end of each chorus. It goes up into a minor and ends on an unsettling F9. Just a little bit of Brian Wilson’s genius, and that concludes your lesson for today.

Well east coast girls are hip, you know I really dig those styles they wear; the west coast’s a nice break for a while but I’d rather be back there #santamonica #beach #beachboys (Taken with instagram)

This is more than a little ridiculous.
Also this reveals the conspiracy that Brian Wilson’s Facebook page is not run by Brian Wilson! Aha! Note the use of the plural “us.” No wonder he never answered my personal soul-searching heart-wrenching message about finding my musical voice and being bipolar.
